Wrote the words to "I'll Come Back to You." This is for the song that we wrote on the 14th [Sept.]. It's a very good song. [I don't remember the song, this was after our album was recorded, not sure if any tapes exist anymore. ]
Is must be a little frustrating to have created/written something and no longer remember it. It’s understandable though, as you would have to be pretty darn remarkable to hold on to it in your head for 28 odd years…
However, it would be interesting to hear the song, or at least read the lyrics.
I often wonder what musical direction, or sound Stampede would have created after the fist album…
A Rock Band that was formed in July/August of 1980, in the city of Aschaffenburg, Germany. Originally founded by Franz Ullrich (Vocals), Ritchie (Klaus) Reichardt (Guitar), Lexel Hain (Drums), and Joey Costello (Bass). After a few weeks of writing original material we performed our first concert on October 11, 1980 at the Heylands Schwind in Aschaffenburg. A few weeks after this gig, Lexel left the band and Frajo Kromerich joined the band. The band stayed in this line up until November of 1981, and then Gundy Keller became Stampede's guitarist. We made a self-titled LP in April of 1981 and toured around Europe quite a bit.
